Security
Right of entry to the Tech Futures complex is restricted by a card access system, with security personnel on-site. All key equipment, including fridges, freezers and environmental systems are connected to a backup generator power system. Environmental conditions of storage units and the animal colony itself are continuously monitored, and an automated dial-out alarm system alerts staff to any deviations from set conditions.
