Pricing is an important factor when clients consider using AITF’s technologies and expertise. Our corporate pricing process starts with a discussion of the project’s scope and the client’s expected deliverables and timelines. In many instances, a client may require the use of multiple machine centres and additional support (e.g. feedstock acquisition, specific packaging, shipping, etc.) to arrive at the final deliverables. A client may also require specific tests to be performed throughout the processing stages.
AITF is a foundation member of the Alberta Biomaterials Development Centre (ABDC) along with Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development, Environment and Sustainable Resource Development, Alberta Innovates and Advanced Education and Alberta Innovates Bio Solutions and other institutions and will arrange for necessary supplemental processing when capacity does not exit in-house.
Following the discussion of the client’s project needs, an AITF rep will develop and submit a price quote that is an accurate and fair price quote. In the end, AITF wants to ensure it provides clients with the best and most thorough service possible.
