2010 Research and Commercialization Summit
August 19 - 21, 2010
Banff, Alberta
This year, as we enter the next period of capacity building in Alberta as Tech Futures, we are proud to hold the inaugural Alberta Innovates - Technology Futures Research and Commercialization Summit. Our goal is to bring all of the bright research minds affiliated with Alberta Innovates Technology Futures current and heritage research programs together to share your work, your research challenges and to build the relationships needed to further your research goals. Attendees will include members of the former iCORE Academy, including iCORE Chairs, Professors, Industry Chairs and their research teams, former Alberta Ingenuity Fellows, Scholars and Industry Associates, as well as senior researchers from the former Alberta Research Council and nanoAlberta. Our program will span three days and showcase basic research, industry collaborations and technology commercialization that have resulted from funding by the heritage organizations. With a large number of research teams attending, we will be limited to 6 presentations in each area, but will provide many opportunities for sharing and discussions over the course of the Summit.
