Overview

The Alberta Doctoral Awards for Chinese Students provide funding support for promising Chinese students entering a full-time PhD degree program at the University of Alberta, the University of Calgary or the University of Lethbridge, in the areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Nanotechnology, Genomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics, Transcriptomics and Regulomics; in and of themselves, or additionally supporting the areas of Health, Bio-industries, or Energy and the Environment.

These awards add to the strong academic exchange and research cooperation that exists between Alberta and the People's Republic of China.
